Donor Resources

I think that part of what prevents donors from trusting and being in real relationship with the people that we ‘want to help’ is that fear of connection or anxiety about it. And if I can communicate what a gift it is to work through that fear and connect anyway… that would be the most valuable legacy, because from there ... the world is open. Meet the Vanguard of the Movement

Groundswell Fund supports over 200 organizations across the U.S. in 49 states as well as Puerto Rico and Washington D.C.

Our grantmaking focuses on bolstering and scaling organizations that are building a strong grassroots base to win policy and systems change as well as organizations that are reducing poor birthing outcomes by expanding access to community-based midwifery and doula care.

We acknowledge that systems change takes time. Thus, the vast majority of our grants are for general support, and we commit to funding efficient and effective organizations over many years. We award grants through four funds, and through our capacity-building programs.

Learn more about the funds and the organizations in our most recent dockets below.
